Welcome. My name is Zheng Zhou (周正). I also go by the Chinese courtesy name (字) Ven-Ji (聞岐). Currently, I am pursuing my PhD degree in physics at Perimeter Institute, Canada.
I find myself deeply attracted by theoretical physics, especially quantum many-body physics. My research is mainly focused on the theoretical and numerical study of exotic critical behaviour in condensed matter systems, especially about conformal field theories, on the setup of fuzzy sphere, quantum Hall systems and lattice models, and with numerical tools like ED, DMRG and QMC.
As my name 聞岐 (Ven-Ji, to be aware of the branch roads) indicates, I also have many paths other than physics to take. I enjoy wine tasting, photography, Latin calligraphy and cooking. You can find more in the Gallery.
