Zheng Zhou
周正
Welcome. My name is Zheng Zhou (周正). I also go by the Chinese courtesy name (字) Ven-Ji (聞岐). Currently, I am pursuing my PhD degree in physics at Perimeter Institute, Canada.
I find myself deeply attracted by theoretical physics, especially quantum many-body physics. My research is mainly focused on the theoretical and numerical study of exotic critical behaviour in condensed matter systems, especially about conformal field theories, on the setup of fuzzy sphere and lattice models, and with numerical tools like ED, DMRG and QMC.
As my name 聞岐 (Ven-Ji, to be aware of the branch roads) indicates, I also have many paths other than physics to take. I enjoy photography, Latin calligraphy and cooking, as can be found in the Gallery.
